We offer a variety of siding products to meet your specific needs:
- Hardboard Siding. A great alternative to wood siding known for its significantly lower maintenance and long term cost. Hardboard siding is known to possess much of same aesthetic appeal as natural wood, without the imperfections, knots, etc. Technologically advanced hardboard siding products on the market today, such as LP Smartside engineered wood siding, are top quality products and should not be confused with the pressboard siding of the past.
- Vinyl Siding. Almost always the most economical siding option available, this siding product is virtually impervious to termites and other wood destroying insects and animals. Furthermore, the weather won’t rot, warp or cause vinyl to deteriorate, and because there isn’t any paint to chip or peel off, maintenance is minimal over the life of the product.
- Wood (Cedar) Siding. Considered by many to be the most beautiful siding options, and for those who have historical homes or place a premium on the original architecture of their property, wood may be the best option. But natural beauty also comes with a significant cost, as upfront product and installation costs as well as long term maintenance costs are higher than their hardboard counterparts.
- Wood (Cedar and Composite) Shakes. As with wood siding, natural cedar shakes are beautiful, but they are vulnerable to the elements – particularly moisture and impact – as well as pests. Composite shakes provide the unique visual appeal of traditional wooden shakes, but are easier and more economical to maintain and are generally less costly to install than natural wood shakes.
In addition to the more common residential siding materials mentioned above, the team at Advanced Exteriors can also help you evaluate a variety of specialty metal siding products for your home or commercial property.
Still not sure if replacement siding is a worthwhile endeavor? Consider this. In 2014, Remodeling Magazine’s Cost vs. Value report, which compares average cost for popular remodeling projects with the value those projects retain at resale, indicated that siding projects (particularly those using an upscale hardboard product) had among the highest returns at resale.
Our mission is provide each of our customers with a custom siding proposal that includes the highest quality workmanship and service at a competitive price. We’d love the chance to earn your business.
