Generally there are two issues with windows that should not yet be failing – either a part has legitimately broken or, more likely, the window wasn’t properly installed in the first place. In the case of an actual broken part, the experts at Advanced Exteriors can generally order a new part (as long as it’s still made) and perform the necessary repairs. Sometimes a repair is the best option, but sometimes in the case of product defect after the warranty term it is best and most cost effective to actually replace the window.
“It’s important to me to know that I’m getting the best price and the least hassle when I hire a contractor and that’s what I got with Advanced. The price was fair, the staff was polite and their workers were professional and hard working. A definite recommend from me.”— Henry Miller
However, more often than not, when customers call regarding a faulty window, the window (and its parts) aren’t the actual issue – poor installation is to blame. We regularly find that “broken” window frames aren’t broken at all, and once they’re properly installed, they magically begin working again. The skilled carpenters at Advanced Exteriors will evaluate the extent of the issue with your window and work to find a reasonable and affordable solution. Unfortunately, we can’t always salvage windows that have been improperly installed, but when we can, we do!
We encourage you to reach out to us to learn more about our window repair services.
